Yeah, I'll give the OP the benifit of the doubt that maybe whatever program he/she/it is using is not reading correctly (or maybe it is set to read the lowest temp). Anyhow, no need to dog on a n00b, lets just congradulate him/her/it on the OC and encourage to move forward.

Also, OP, no you need to start folding that monster!! thumb.gif

Holy crap. I'm practically getting attacked right now frown.gif
It could be that the temperature readings are faulty.. this is the first time I've OC'd.. let alone custom built a computer. Jeez

Try not to attack him, he's new at it. But its most likely your temp readings are faulty and the CPU-Z is off as well.

Just use Real Temp or coretemp or something that will detect it correctly, then you will see temps in the 70's or 80's after primeing for at least 20 minutes. If not, then either your BSing us or the chip/cooler you have is golden. Because I doubt you would get those temps even if you lived in Antarctica.

Also welcome to OCN. Please go here and fill in your system spec so we know what your running. http://www.overclock.net/specs.php
