Yes. Dell has always been good to me until now. It's one of those horror stories that I didn't think really would happen. I primarily blame this one ass who messed me up royally and Dell's really crappy policies.
I mean, again, what does it take to slap a new shipping label on a box? lol It's bewildering.
It reminds me of a recent problem I had with Tigerdirect and UPS. I bought a GTX590 or w/e the most recent one was that had the voltage problems. UPS lost the thing in transit on launch day, and both TD and UPS didn't want to have anything to do with me.
And TD wouldn't send me a new replacement one because of "its policy". Why can't you just send me a new card and if UPS found it, then they send it back to TD to replace the one in stock that I have. If UPS doesn't find it, they pay TD back the money in insurance for the card.
Why do I, the consumer, have to suffer and wait a week
for an investigation and be left in the dark?
I canceled that order in a heartbeat after Tigerdirect support girl practically insulted me. It turned out for the best because I got my 6990 and I don't regret it.
This stuff always happens to me. Never fails. I've been lucky with Dell to this point though I guess.

You're being nice and they still don't really do much for you except send you an e-mail that says "Sorry buddy, I'll look into it"
She said she would be calling me back either the end of today or Monday depending on how quickly things go. She said she was short handed so we'll see. As for the email, she can look up my order by name which I believe she is already doing and can search for my email on the order. I got her number and extension thankfully.
I asked Triya and her rep for a discount or compensation on the day of and they said they couldnt do anything for me. Which is garbage.
I could ask this lady I guess, but I really don't want to push things. If this corporate person can get me my laptop quicker than the 15th, I'm all for it. I just want it at this point and get out of this stuff.
I already have expedited shipping for free btw. Thats what Viijay was for. I explained my situation regarding the first like 4 times I tried to order the thing and he got it for me. Which ultimately lead to this affair.
According to the Notebookreview forums, expedited next day shipping is the easiest thing to get from Dell no questions asked.Edited by OmegaNemesis28 - 8/5/11 at 2:57pm
