I Doubt the 6870 will bottle neck with a 3.0ghz quad core.

No point to do anymore upgrades till you actually play the game. That way you can see if you whats will hold you back.

Yeah Speed Junkie I figure that much, But I know for sure the ati 4870 wont go much more beyond medium setting with BF3 and Skyrim. My plan is to wait till october to see if the price drops even just a bit on the 6870.

The only upgrade to DDR3 Is because of Mhz. AMD can take low Mhz/Better timings, or High Mhz/slower timings. It's up to you. But, if you want to see more overall performance even browsing the internet, go with the timings. I'm running my Ripjaws @ 5-5-5-15-12 @ 800MHZ.

Well Its not a bad card at all, I just want a better one to Run medium to high settings on BF3. My plan is to also Overclock my Cpu just a bit to get better performance also. My debate is between the ati 6870 and the Nvidia GTX 560 Ti CU from Asus.

Thats what I plan to do, Im going to wait see how I hold up than upgrade if I think I need it. Hopefully when the game comes out better Gpus will become cheaper and I can buy those.
