asus 4870 graphics card

Thread Starter
hey, im going to get an asus 4870 graphics card, im buying it from my brother strictly becuase i know its alot better then mine, but i am just wondering as to how good they are, i have a 24 inch samsung monitor and the main games i will be playing mostly all of the call of duty games on pc from call of duty 4 onwards, and i would really like to know whether my 500w coolermaster pro silent psu will be enought to power it, and whether i will be able to play call of duty 4 and 6 on high graphics settings without lag, rippling and fps fail.

4870 512Mb plays Crysis 1 on 1440x900 maxed with 40FPS. Also, 3DMark Vantage scores are between 9000 and 11000, hope that helps

Um....hopefully it is the 1gig version then yes you will be fine with the fps on those games. The power supply is fine too. I have the 4870 and it is still a powerful card
