Yes, this mobo has been out several months now. The fact that both ASUS and Gagabyte have found this platform worthy of making new, high-priced motherboards for these cpu's attests to the almost sheer perfection of the LGA1366 platform. As long as people still show interest in, and buy into this platform, they'll continue to be made.
I'd love to own one of these motherboards. IF they were reliable. BJorn3D obviously gets the fully QC&E tested versions of hardware from the manufacturers to test, as all other review sites. I'll never trust any review site that doesn't buy their items to be tested from a random retailer or e-tailer. Not as long as these reviewers accept freebies for making up good reviews. I'll read the review for the specs, just not the actual rating.
I've never done this before and hopefully never will again, but here's a link to the NewEgg customer reviews for this board. Make sure that the "Verified Owners" box is ticked so you'll filter out almost 25% of reviews from non-owners. Why NewEgg doesn't do this themselves I'll never know.
Always take these NewEgg user reviews with a tablespoonful of salt as most of these people don't have a clue as to how to properly assemble a new computer. Still, you can get an idea from the people that actually own these things.
I couldn't help but notice that the NewEgg TV ads, that BestBuy complained about, have stopped. I guess BestBuy won their order of restrainment.
