You have an SSD and you are hacking windows to boot faster?

Reducing the amount of information loaded at start and increasing the speed of your disk. I'd say you've done both. Honestly, I highly doubt that windows loads slower due to animations.

How long does it take you to boot?

This patch probably is just a thing where it reduces the amount of processes and applications being loaded up during windows boot.

Sense when I first built my comp thats how fast it loaded when it was clean. Now it loads a bit slower because it has to load more programs.

I can't watch the video due to slow internet, but to speed up booting make your boot drive an SSD.

EDIT: Nvm looks like you have done that already. Doh!

1. Windows + R
2. msconfig
3. Boot tab
4. Check "No GUI boot"
5. Click OK/Apply
6. See for yourself

I think this is kind of what he is doing. The speeds aren't significantly faster (for HDD's), but it does help.

LOL you've got an SSD, you'll boot up faster than someone with a HDD no matter what hacks they do.

I have an SSD and windows takes a considerably long time to boot. It will hang at the Windows logo screen with the moving 4 color blocks for anywhere from 25-80 seconds.

found a program called "Soluto" looks like it might do the trick.

That doesn't sound right.

I have 3 drives in RAID0 (I would imagine it should be slower) and I boot in 45-50 seconds. There is even the overhead of searching for my array.

Any program reducing boot time is just making configuration changes to your system. I would personally make sure I understood what it was doing.
