It doesn't matter who uses the computer. You are still the sole owner of the computer. If that were the case then if my friends use my computer I guess I would have to buy a new license for everything on my computer.

Chances are, if you are planning on lanning D3 with your friends, they already have it. You are still capable of creating private "servers" that only your friends can join. Problem solved.

And as far as I am concerned, nothing that I or anyone else says is going to stop or change the good farmers, so whining about it and basing your decision about this game is your ignorance to withstand.

At the end of the, who says you can't put the game back on the shelf at your local retailer?

It doesn't matter who uses your computer. It DOES matter when you install it on multiple computers and have the game running at the same time on more than 1 of them. Is it really that hard for you to comprehend? Read the EULA. Better yet, call Blizzard and ask them.

While what you're saying is true, the problem is that a lot of people have been looking forward to this game for a long time, and do not like the changes. It's kinda like going out for dinner, and finding a roach in your food, you leave disgusted and don't have to pay, but the meal you were looking forward to, is ruined.

You can play completely uneffected by it with your friends, and lets face it 99.99% of players who are complaining now are going to buy it because it looks cool / everyone is playing it. Activision/Blizzard bank on it, what they deliver is besides the point, marketing and hype = high sales from preorder.

it's just a damn shame that Blizzard have stooped this low.

Amazes me the amount of people complaining about things they have no idea about.

I already explained the reasons for what they're doing yet they completely ignore it.

I've come to hate PC gamers more and more and now I know why developers don't bother with this platform as much; just too many complainers that either have no idea what they're talking about, or are too nostalgic.

Your reply to my "No mods" bullet point was this:

Implying that mods ruin the game.

Out of my 16 years of PC Gaming I have never heard a hack referred to as a "mod". They're called hacks for a reason. They are an unauthorized intrusion into the game client. Mods are meaningful modifications to the game that are almost always licensed and authorized.

Are you a troll? Because it sure seems like it. By your logic I guess you can't backup your music to a CD either, because that would involve copying it from one medium you own to another medium you own. I guess you can't put music on your iPod either, because that would further duplicate it. According to your "logic" these two perfectly normal and reasonable things would classify as "piracy"...
So apparently "you have to actually play DIII" implies that mods ruined the game. ???? Wow. This is the part where I stop responding to your comments because you keep putting words in my mouth.

+1. I'm getting irritated for the same reasons. People either don't read articles, don't realize how bad their arguments are, or continue to hate on games for no good reason because that is what people do at OCN.

- No attributes has been explained by Blizzard and was actually an understandable decision. In D2 attributes were honestly trivial. Everyone just set their STR to the max that they need for their items, then pump dex to get 75% block, then pump it all to vit or energy or a mix of the two. Builds were already listed online which trivialized attributes.

Attributes became pretty much a placebo once everyone figured out builds and items. I see it as non issue in d3 now since I no longer have to worry about not having enough of a stat to equip an item while leveling up anymore ( Finding Tal Rasha's armor but not having nearly enough STR on my sorc when I was a noob ticked me off )

- Only mods I can think of for B.net were MH and Bots. These were never supported period. Open B.net was a joke also with all the hacked items.

- A DRM that requires you to be online while playing online? Mind = blown. If you want to play SP without an internet connection ( Really? L2tether if you're on the go ), play a different game.

- The real money AH is optional. Not to mention it was already huge in D2. If you didn't notice it in D2 then you are not affected. Blizzard just mainstreamed it which makes it safer for players that buy items. Not only that, but EVERYONE can sell items and make some dough if they want ( They will have weekly free listings for everyone )

Hopefully this puts you at ease since most of your points all deal with nostalgic features or features that don't affect the core diablo online play at all.
I agree with all of this.

Some people just aren't happy unless they are unhappy about something.
