I would like to go to water. I need extreme guidance though. - Page 2

I'm surprised this post was even replied to.. for shame.

Follow these steps:
Take your time, do the research, get to know and understand your options. You'll be much better off for it.

If you aren't prepared to do so then get a H80 or NH-D14. Simple, easy, and plenty effective.

Thanks for that nice bit of information. I have however been doing research and thought i would come to the forum for some opinions and guidance. Its good to talk to people aswell as reading it all for yourself y'know. We all learn differently and this forum is here to help, guide and advise people....even if its just giving someone a link to some relevant and helpful information.

Oh and as for the pacifier remark........i think you should consider one following that childish, inappropriate and somewhat offensive comment.

I apologise if i have read your post differently to how you intended.....IF that is the case, perhaps you should consider your wording in future posts.

It sounds to me like you've done no research whatsoever. You might have heard mention of the Rasa kits being thrown around but you couldn't even spell it right =/

You're asking questions which can not only be easily answered with use of the search function right here on OCN, but are also thoroughly explained in the stickied post in this very section.

I am sorry but your posts here just make it seem like you can't be arsed... if you can't even scroll to the top of the forum and click the stickied mega-guide before posting I don't see you being OK with the more tedious aspects of putting together a loop, let alone a full maintenance tear down every 6~ months.

Asking questions is OK, asking to have your hand held through every minute detail of the process is not.

Good luck with your build whichever path you choose.

Once a year cleaning if that is really no big deal. Heck if you set things up correctly it could take as little as 30 min to an hour.

The RASA is pretty much the go to solution to all new watercoolers.

Agreed. Not to mention, if you don't maintain a H80, it'll quit on you too.

Ah but you are forgetting his budget and the fact that he hasn't water cooled anything before. Also his comfort level with messing with the innards of his pc isn't really known. I'd try the H80, see if you like it, understand that its a segue into REAL water cooling, and if after a month or so you like the changes go all the way and start worrying about pumps and rads and which block is best and all that never ending Boolean loop crap. Besides the H80 has great resale and you could use the funds to buy more watercooling stuff if you want to

Now that you mention it RAZA is spelled wrong. In Chicano (a Mexican dialect,"RAZA" means race, as in Viva La Raza) I did think it odd that this would be the name of a water cooling kit but OH well.

Ok i respect your opinion. Im just a VERY thorough person before deciding to do anything and get carried away with asking "silly" questions. I can be arsed i assure you of that. I am reading through the stickies now and am learning more.

Yeah.....Rasa, not Raza .

I like and agree with what you say about the H80 being a segue into real water cooling. Many thanks .

Or can you fit a H100, I think thats my plan. Then later if I want to put GPU under water I will run a custom loop for the gpu and leave the H100 on CPU. dual loops with the maintenance on one loop.
