Theres always some things people would change, just becasue they like something better. You did a great job. Case is OK. Only has two 120mm fans I think. Might be worth giving something else a look just for the airflow issue. Also I have an MSI mobo and i wish I went with GB if Asus. Very glitchy bios. But your setup looks good.
This is a very nice build, especially since you say you have never built a comp before. Maybe you learned a thing or two from OCN? wink.gif. The only thing I would think about is whether or not you need a bigger PSU. You didnt say what you are going to be using this comp for, but if you are a gamer and were planning to SLI your GPUs at some point you will need a bigger PSU. I have found it is way cheaper to spend a little more up front, say with an 850 or 900w PSU, than to try to sell your 650w later. Just a thought. I have the same PSU and am now regretting the small watts, I have to shell out a ton to get a PSU ready and willing to power my crossfire 6950s. Good luck mate! thumb.gif

thanks for the replies

i think im gonna buy whats there and see how it performs. I can easily replace PSU etc... if needed.
Buying mainly for gaming (BF3 wink.gif ) but also for video editing/photoshop etc... which it shouldnt be a problem with.
Was gonna get the i7 2600k but i dont really need it do i? thats for like future games

video editing and photoshop/c4d do benefit from the HT from the 2600k.

We usually recommend the 2500k for gaming builds since the i7 doesn't give any obvious performance gains, but for HT programs there will be.

Grief is right, the 2500K doesnt have hyperthreading, making it much less attractive for photoshop and c4d. The 8 thread performance of the 2600 will be much better than the 2500's 4 cores. Also as ^ said, in gaming there will not be much of a difference. You decide mate, 100 bucks is a lot. Either way, I think you will be happy thumb.gif

As I said if you are going to be doing video editing, photoshop, c4d, etc then an i7 would be recommended since those programs will take advantage of HT.

A aftermarket cooler would be recommended since the stock ones that come with the sandy bridge cpus are garbage. Since these procs are also OC beasts, and heat relates to how high you can OC, pick one up. Try the hyper 212+, that is the best bang for your buck cooler.

You most likely won't need a sound card, there is on board sound that is processed by your motherboard. So that will work fine, what kind of headphones or speaker system do you have?

Your motherboard has an input for ethernet internet at the back, but not for wifi. If you need to connect via wifi, then you need to buy an extra expansion card to do so.
