100 Pounds, according to google, seems to be about $164. I know I got my CM HAF 932 for below that, and I love it so far, although a lot of people opt for the HAF X, which is quite a bit more expensive. Both supposedly have great airflow, and a ton of room.

Yes, you won't *need* a soundcard in the same way that you don't *need* an external graphics card. Onboard audio will work, but if you really want quality audio (and have decent speakers or headphones) you will need an audio card. Obviously my comparison is a little unfair because we don't stress audio as much as video as gamers, but the difference is noticeable.

If you want a cheap audio card there are some available. Look at the Asus Xonar DG if you want a cheap one. I have it and it is much better than onboard audio!

So, yes, you can get by just fine without a soundcard, however if you want better sounding audio a soundcard is a must.

Yes, I love the 690 case and I haven't heard much bad about the HAF 922 so I think you'll really enjoy that as well! It's more about tastes I think than anything. They both are great cases for the money.

Can't wait, its a step up from my amd athlon 1.6 / 1gb RAM

Someone with the exact same mobo told me he couldnt install drivers, but I'm sure you guys on here could help if i get any problems
