That's a VERY VERY fast mechanical drive setup. And the SSD is still light years faster in everything. You'll load into Windows in like 20 seconds, programs open up instantly. It's just amazing how fast they are.

That's the ONE upgrade I can honestly feel comfortable recommending (only a 60GB one though, I don't think more is justifiable) with a higher end machine like this.
Wow, sounds like a must have

How long do they last though? As they degrade after do many writes

Add an SSD, it'll really speed up your system.
I'd switch out the Corsair Vengeance RAM for Ripjaws, but it isn't necissary.
Also, make sure the GTX570 is a non-reference version, as the reference 570s have VRM issues. (Might blow up if overclocked )

Everything else is perfection. Nice work

An SSD will be one of the most tangible upgrades in your system, as far as I'm concerned it is a must have for a new PC.

With TRIM support these drives will last well into you wanting newer tech. Meaning you will see 5 new generations of drives before your craps out and I will assume you will have already upgraded

^im sure you can clear that up, you'll be spending time on the build anyways

Edit: I went for a Crucial m4 128gb SSD on my new build. Ending up ordering it a month or so after I did the initial build, when I had saved up more money. Had to reinstall windows etc, but so worth it. And I use 2 Samsung F3's on RAID 1 for my storage drive. If you eventually have more $$ SDD performance gains are amazing. I found 128gb was a good size for my Boot drive, some people do less but it's allowed me to get most of my bigger apps/games on the boot drive as well gl with your build. Now I just gotta save up for another 6970 for x-fire...
