2 x EVGA 1gb gtx 460 fpb doesn't work sli... any help or explanation?

Thread Starter
i grab couple of EVGA GTX 460 1GB FPB from B-stock sale with 10% coupon for less than $200. i installed latested driver. computer does recognize both card (under device manager, gpu-z, etc) but i just don't see "enable sli" on Nvidia control panel. i downloaded newest driver 275.33 and already read/searched about this issue but there's no clear answer other than reinstall driver which didn't really help. i tried switching cards and also putting on different slot. nothing helps... so any answer? i have 3 monitors (3 x samsung 245BW @ 1920 x 1200) so i need multi gpu card to handle them so no single gpu. i thought about gtx 4602win but it doesn't fit on my case...

my motherboard is ASUS MIVE with 2600k if that helps...

this is pretty similar to my issue.

Search underneath nVidia control panel, enable high performance which defaults to SLI config underneath main display.

There could be something physically wrong with the bridge or the card.

i tried with 2 sli bridge so i don't think it's the bridge.
under cpu/gpu-z, msi ab, or device manager, both card works just fine.
i guess i can try to reinstall the windows for the last resort but i really really really don't want to spend extra few hours just doing that...

I wouldn't bother reinstalling Windows. My friend had this problem and tried that but it didn't work. He just had one bad card.

I didn't even update drivers or anything when I installed my second card, the option was just there.
