New rig?

Hey guys i was thinking about upgrading to a new AM3+ mobo for buldozer, any opinions on a good motherboard for price? I was looking at the sabertooth and crosshair V and was kinda leaning towards the sabertooth because of the price difference. Also i have one 5850, better to crossfire that or buy a better card, and if crossfire wheres a good place to get since newegg is out and im assuming not getting anymore. The reason for this new rig is because i currently have a dell (sad i kno but i got it off a friend for super cheap) so i cant OC or change mobos.

Also any case suggestions? My friend has haf x and I like it a lot but not certain which case i will get.

One last question I have is if a 550 watt power supply would be enough for crossfire 5850. Now that i think of it it might not have enough connectors so any advice on a good powersupply. Again trying to keep the cost down if at all possible.

This is all theoretical tbh idk if ima be building this new rig though I do have the money.

Thanks to all that reply

just in regards to the power supply, If it's a awesome power supply it should be ok

Really you need at least a 650 to be comfortable

If it was me I would hold on for bull dozer to be out a bit, see how it compares to sandy, and the best ocing/priced board.

ATI Radeon™ HD5850 System Requirements

PCI Express® based PC is required with one X16 lane graphics slot available on the motherboard
• 500 Watt or greater power supply with two 75W 6-pin PCI Express® power connectors recommended (600 Watt and four 6-pin connectors for ATI CrossFireX™ technology in • dual mode)
I would be stepping up the PSU it may struggle with a powerful CPU.

If you want to use the q6600 you could get a cheap case and new mobo for OCing it, but its getting old and wouldn't be worth the money.

Thanks guys, yea im sure ill wait a while at least to see how bulldozer does. Also any prefered brands on power supply, im kinda leaning towards corsair cause I know they make good products. Again this build probly wont happen that soon, at least until a while after bulldozer comes out. Supposed to be sometime next month if im not mistaken correct?

Edit:didnt look hard enough on the amd site lol thanks for the link

Corsair is good, but Seasonic is even better! I would highly recommend the X650 if you have the cash. Sometimes Newegg has promotions and it'll be around $110.
