As for MMO is a different situation that you spend money monthly, time and investment to get high end items and in which case if something happened to your account. Would you get mad and piss. Anyone would. This is why, I stopped. Not worth if something happened.

MMO... = second job.

Anyways, I better stop haha this is about the new expansion and I was going off-topic already. Sorry!

Plenty of people play as much CoD as others play WoW. WoW caters to casual players in a LOT of ways.

its a fact, scripted fights are eventually very very very boring. if you are NOT bored by a scripted fight you are HIGHLY uncompetitive and MMOs are perfect for you....

if you are ANY kind of competitive person in anything you would rather have an everchanging environment as well as pvp related non repeating content such as world pvp that matters and not things like BGS

i think wow is a dieing breed of games that is basically the ONLY thing out atm and as soon as someone taps into TRUELY dynamic content (def not u rift....) then you will see wow die in one amazing supernova of a death

something like runescape meets wow meets any game where choices matter and the environment changes based on those choices

that being said pandas are so stupid idc if the race existed for 20 years its dumb lol. if they slow down wow anymore then it is now ill be amazed but they slowed down pvp in cata and ruined it so anythings possible...
Almost done...

And we are again reminded how non-competitive players are not real players. They don't create PvE battlegrounds FOR competitive players, they create them for CASUAL players.

That's a neat hypothesis about WoW dying in a "supernova", but I have a slight theory that might go against that:

I think (hear me out) that the people who've played WoW for years actually ENJOY WoW, and won't quit as soon as a new game comes.

Enjoy your input on pandas being "stupid", though I fail to see how they're any more stupid than Worgen or Gnomes.

I just don't understand. I kind of get the "lol pandas what a joke" mentality.. but since when was WoW ever really "serious"? The whole series since WCIII has been a tongue-in-cheek fantasy setting with some deeper lore elements spread around. Pandaren have existed for over a decade in Warcraft.

worgens are cool pandas are not gnomes are cool as well what? pandas are just a random animal and animals that exist in the real world and then become a "race" is kinda lame. taurens are kinda stupid also...

also a dynamic game contains MORE content for a "casual" player then does one that repeats itself. what happens to a lot of the casual players is they are forced to do less demanding things that dont really matter and im sure they are fine with it but would much pref more OPTIONS. a truely dynamic game has options that far exceed anything wow could patch add or expand to

it is also the same basis that sustains more hardcore players without crossing over each other

all im saying is wow is too big for what it actually is, a mediocre game that was basically just the FIRST. show me what FIRST product you are using today? steve jobs is famous for taking the garbage first products and making them what they SHOULD/COULD be.
i equate wow to the same thing as the phone and the follow up game to that of the iphone. the current game is great because you cant miss what you never had, i happen to yearn for a game that will TRUELY deserve its title as most popular game and one day you will see...
