Lol pandas. Might check it out and if my friends get it then i probably will get it. What i dont get is why people say that its dieing. Last time i checked it still has more than 10 million people playing right? I'll start to say that its dieing when it drops to like 5 million.

I would mention flocking over to proper next-gen MMO like GW2 where you won't get charged monthly, but everybody already knows that even if they've been living under a rock biggrin.gif

this is my point

wow arena is broken. pve always has better classes that cycle and many other classes that suck.

the concept of gearing new characters is next to impossible if you want to COMPETE in a high end guild and your current guild does not have the ability or wish to help gear your new "main"

this leads you to making that character more casual and deters people from ever aspiring. here is where my point comes in. you should be able to do something highly interesting and that MATTERS other then adding gear to your character and becoming hardcore. the fact that raiding requires a TON of time to be "good" at it or even just "complete" it is troublesome. my friends who pve spend hours every other night and some in top guilds spend hours EVERY night to complete content that they have already done many times before and the only reason they complete it is so they can ACTUALLY DO the next patches content.

any game that once you beat something requires you to keep on beating it over and over and over for months just so you can ACTUALLY DO THE NEXT RAID/PATCH is a HORRIBLE system of a game.

how can you defend the wow style of gaming one might ask? well thats because you lack vision and are used to the only way you know how. once someone introduces you to a new way of thinking you question how such older ideas were even done.

if you list what good MMOs exist right now you can clearly see why wow is #1 and the answer is always "gameplay" and by gameplay i mean how you control your character.

im not at all an FPS fanboy i quit arena and play sc2 only really but FPS have the element of being able to be repeated. in wow its the SAME stuff over and over and over but in an fps the human element makes the same tastes less and less arduous and the fact that you dont have to do daily "homework" or "account upkeep" makes the game more refreshing since you ONLY do stuff you enjoy doing and are not required to do dumb things just so you can continue to do the things you want to.

its a bad system man... you defend the game but i think your just blindly defending a game you enjoy and are content. ppl like me and clearly the guy i quote are not content with just whatever is out at the moment and we seek to find/create/mold bigger and better

You know they're running out of ideas when they add Kung Fu Panda to their game.

its kinda funny how much you defend the game

you also took insult to "casual" so im assuming you are not very good at the game. you prob are also a happy person

heres the thing im envious of your ability to be content but know that its the unhappy miserable people who see the flaws in the things you enjoy and make them better for you. enjoy pandas, think they are the bees knees and the head cheese but then also know that there are FAR better games that are not made yet that will make you rethink your close minded view

wow isnt good... this is coming from someone who knows better then most...

Every class has been viable in PvE for a while. Arena is unbalanced, but not broken until you get highest-level. That's gonna happen with 10 unique classes.

Completely false. Higher-end raiders are always making and gearing new alts.

e.g. the new PvE content they added?

But it doesn't unless you WANT to play hardcore.

It doesn't take that much to do regular content, unless your guild is terrible. If you want to do hardcore content, it WILL take more time, as it should.

Tell that to MMOs. Is that why WoW has failed for 7 years?

Of course... it's because I lack vision. Now I get it.

Much more content that's much more accessible.

Myself and millions of players disagree.

It'll be another round of leveling through quests where nobody reads the text, raiding Tiers solely to have an advantage in the next tier, being pigeon-holed into the same class setups if I want to be successful in PvP, Daily Quest / Reputation grinds, Tanks/Healers being wanted more than DPS, etc.

At this stage it's predictable down to the letter and fluffy pandas aren't about to change it - but as I said, if I was in Blizzard's shoes I would do exactly the same thing. If millions of people are willing to pay exactly the same subscription fees to play exactly the same game (with a different color palette used) that required minimal effort on the development side, why shouldn't Blizzard continue with it?

...? No? I didn't take insult to casual. I don't play (haven't since August), but I've always been "fairly" hardcore.
It's kind of funny how much you attack the game. See what I did there?

Again ignoring every that was announced and simplifying down to "PANDAS". They completely reworked the class system, but hey, let's ignore that, it's just PANDAS!

... did April Fools come early this year?

You lost me at Pandarens.

Not to mention, the obnoxiously oriental design is just... distracting.
I had always heard that Mists of Pandaria was a giant joke. My suspicions have been confirmed.

Peace out Azeroth - if you need me, I'll be at my hive cluster.
