The next expansion won't be out until summer 2012 at the least. This is why they are doing that Buy 1 year sub and get D3 for free. So they can keep some subs at the least.

By the time the next WoW Xpac is out GW2, SW:TOR, TERA, The Secret World and other MMOs should have been out by them.

If they are successful and innovate as they seem to be suggesting, WoW will have a really hard bringing back people into the game with just this new Expansion.

For a game that takes in over $100M per month, that was one lame ass trailer.

Q: When do I get Diablo III and the other exclusive benefits?
A: You'll be able to download and play Diablo III as soon as it's available and once you complete the one-year term, it's yours to keep, even if you cancel your subscription.

I are confused.

You're missing the end:

I agree, it's confusing.

Pfft.
There is a reason that WoW makes more money in a MONTH than most games released in a YEAR.
You can all call the subscribers morons, but there are a hell of a lot more players of WoW, than there are members of OCN.
I like WoW. It's fun to me.
I don't care about the "engine", or the repetitive stuff.
It's paying a monthly fee for a game you enjoy playing.
And as I have stated before, WoW has done more to save PC gaming than pretty much every other title out there. So when you cry about console ports, look at the most successful title the PC has EVER had.

End of story.

Simple truth. People are free to not enjoy WoW, but going to thread ABOUT WoW and complaining about it, and then not expecting any defense at all is ridiculous. I don't understand why I've been singled out as some kind of "die-hard defender", when plenty of people do the same on the BF3 threads.

I don't know what it is but ever since a few months ago I have absolutely zero interest in playing this game. I seriously played it for sooo long and sooo much that I honestly get a tad sick feeling anytime I even see a screen shot from that game.

It will forever be in my memories as a great game but I can honestly say with 100% certainty it's days are behind me.
Yeah, I'm pretty much at that point. People have been clamoring for Pandarens for years. I've never had a strong interest in them. People would ask me, "Wouldn't it be awesome if they made Pandarens a playable race?" No, it would not be awesome. Not at all. Now, they really have done it.

I've played WoW since beta, off and on, but I'm thinking I may be done with it at this point. It was a good run, but it's time to move on.

Pokemon and Kung Fu Panda? Blizzard is pandering to the Korean lunatics that MMO themselves to death in public intrawebs cafes. Nothing to see here.
