New Build with W/C. Looking for advise

Thread Starter
This will be my first build in about 4 years and I'm looking for advise/suggestions. I plan to use the RASA 750 RS360 kit and add a GPU Block. I'm looking for decent O/C ability along with upgradability...

I'm Planning to use;

CASE: HAF 932
MOBO: BIOSTAR TP67XE (B3)
CPU: Intel i5-2500k
RAM: CORSAIR Vengeance 8GB
PSU: CORSAIR HX750
Video Card: EVGA GeForce GTX 560 Ti FPB (Fermi) 1GB

I am thinking I will use the EK-FC560 GTX on the video card and the Block that comes with the RASA kit for the CPU.

Do you think this setup will work well? Any suggestions for other cooling components? How far do you think I will be able to push the CPU? Should I run a parallel setup or sequence as far CPU/Video card liquid flow?

Lastly do you think I should go with any different parts to allow better O/C? (RAM, MOBO, PSU exc)

I appreciate any feedback!! Thanks a lot

You won't need a 1000w PSU man..

A strong 650-750w PSU would be plenty and give you some OC headroom.

This

And I wouldnt get an EK nickle block unless it's the new EN type, since it will just end up corroding on you. Everything else looks to me.

Btw, your mobo link is broken.

I would get a gtx 570 or better if you're planning on water cooling your card, and a good 750 watt psu for sli later.

Any recomendations for a strong 750w PSU? I was looking at the one I listed due to price and that it is modular.

is the GTX570 that much better than the 650 ti? I know it's one rank higher, but also much more $$.

I'll look into different blocks for the V/C.

Fixed the mobo link

I have this Corsair 750 and it runs my sig rig with no problem.

It's on sale, plus there is a nice mail-in rebate.

go for an asus p8p67 pro for a bang for buck mobo....and i prefer g.skill 1600mhz ram sticks for that build....they have those sniper ones that run on 1.25v but you're okay with 1.5/1.65v ram sticks too.

That RAM is pretty nice. I'm not sold on the mobo change though... I have an asus now and love it, kinda wanted to try something else but we'll see...

Also another question... Will the RX radiator fit in the top of the HAF 932 case or should I go with the RS?

Thanks

with your 27" samsung, a GTX570 will not be going to waste, and with a i5 2500k, you won't need to worry much about the CPU bottleneck..

I personally think a i5 2500k, 570GTX and 8GB of 1600 ram, That's a perfect balance right there with room to grow in the future if needed.
