temps look good at idle BEFORE Prime95 lol

But As soon as i start it, well you know.

When i change the Voltage in the bios it doesnt seem to reflect on CPUID.

is there something I am missing?

Fact of the matter is, not every 2600k will hit 5Ghz, no matter the voltage.

unfortunately we don't all get golden chips. mine needs more than 1.5v to hit 5.0 GHz stable.

in my experience, cpu-z is usually very accurate when it comes to actual voltage which due to vdroop and/or llc will differ from what is set in the bios.

Well some people can't get to 5GHz just because the silicon. Although, you can try and lap it
