Like title states:

If I should either, wait for the 500R to release in September or whenever since they keep pushing the date back or get the Arc Midi.

I am primarily looking for the better performing one.

I like the 500R design a bit more, but I am unsure on how well corsair is going to deliver on the quality of the case(The sides look a bit flimsy) The Arc midi looks fine still, but its a much blander look.

The 500R has 10 mounting spaces while the Arc midi only supplies 8 mounting spots.

Both come with USB 3.0 headers and an added fan control.

So which one should i get I am pretty break even on both. Both are great cases imo.

After owning a Define R3 for months and looking at the 500...go MIDI.

If the Arc Midi can take an H100 in push/pull as I hope it would I think that's the better choice.

They are very similar in features such as cable management and removable hard drive cages but the MIDI looks much cleaner and sleeker than the 500R.

The 500R does look nice and the cases are quite similar but I would go with the Midi. I think 2x5.25 bays should be more than enough. You should be able to fit a optical drive and a fan controller or 2 fan controllers if you have an external ODD or plan on taking it out after installing the OS.

Pretty much this. Now I'm free to say how incredibly ugly the new Corsair is. :-)

Lol. The 500R does look fine to me but compared to the Arc, it's damn ugly.

Agree, I love the front of the Arc.
Was actually thinking of the same question, would have taken the 650D, but i really want 120/140's in the front ...
