Trying to find out for a friend if it's a waste of time buying a mobo form EVGA's B-Stock. Is there anybody out there can share their good or bad experience regarding this?

Evga has great cs. It's worth it to spend extra for more or lifetime warranty.

I bought an EVGA X58 SLI (E758) motherboard off B-stock back in September 2010, and it has been solid as a rock ever since. Ran my i7 920 at 4GHz (1.28V) 24/7 folding@home for 6 months straight with no problems whatsoever. If your friend is looking to save some money, I would have no problem recommending an EVGA B-stock motherboard.
