Worthwhile deal?

So I saw a add in the local paper for 2nd hand Asus Rampage III Extreme + i7 950 for $299.

I've seen pics and stability screenshots and it all looks fine. The is no damage on the motherboard, the only problem the reset light on it does not light up but still works perfectly. I was just wondering if this was a good deal. Considering I already have i7 930 + Asus Rampage II GENE.

The Batch number on his CPU is #3045A137 I can't seem to find any info on it so I don't know if it will be a great OC'er.

I'm sure I could sell my current setup for around $200 so to cover the $
Everything still carries manufacturer warranty.

Personally, I think the money would be better spent moving to a socket 1155 set up.

Well, I don't want to go 1155 now because 2011 is supposedly out in January so I think that will be a better upgrade. I can cover the cost of this by just selling what I already have for the same price.

I'm just considering getting these because looking at the new prices for these

Then what are you waiting for??

I grab whatever good [computer] deal I can on Craigslist. If I can't use it, I ebay it or just resell it. Usually I can make some cash out of the deal as well. Good little side business.
