Can't get 2600k passed 4.7ghz

I get BSODs (x101) if my vcore is anything below 1.45v.

These settings are stable in IBT for at least an hour (haven't tried running it longer). The temps are too high for me to keep it this way (cores reach 85 on ocasion). I've been trying to crack this for about a week now and just can't seem to figure it out.

LLC is at 75% (anything lower BSODs quickly).
PLL Overvolt enabled
Memory set to XMP (1866mhz)

if it reaches 80+c during stability tests....IMO you shouldn't push it without getting a better cooling solution, else you'll risk degrading your CPU with hot temps.

Yes, under 90 degrees is fine. IBT is a more intensive stressing program than Prime 95. Rather use Prime95 for your stressing and see what you get with that. There's no need to run IBT IMO, you won't be using your CPU that intensively.

EDIT: Nevertheless, get it stable in Prime 95, your temps might just drop a bit.

I thought that processor can reach 5ghz at a 1.475v, And shouldn't it be that PLL overvolt should be disabled?

if you're going pass 4.7ghz, you need to enable the PLL overvoltage. Also, try setting your LLC to level 1 (or to what level in which the voltage will stay close to the vcore you set in the bios, under load).

But yeah, invest on some decent cooler first as getting pass 4.7ghz requires a hefty amount of voltage..

Based on what I've seen in this forum and pretty much everywhere else on the internet, my voltages are ridiculously high for this clock speed. They're too high for my 24/7 clock so I'm probably going to have to bump it down to x46 or maybe even x45.

I have tried 0 LLC as some people have suggested elsewhere, but %75 gives me pretty close to 1.45 under load.

I want to focus on my other hardware (ie remove some of the 3 hard drives I have plugged in and remove all PCIe cards except video card) before I just give up and call this a bad chip.

Besides that are there any other suggestions?
