Really, the CM Hyper 212 + is not bad for Sandy. I apply thermal paste by smearing it over the IHS. I have never tried to fill the gaps between the heatpipes on my CM Hyper 212 +. And temps have been where they should be.

I use a lapped TRUE 120 now, and as expected it performs a little better than my CM 212+, but the 212+ is a very good cooler for what it is.

I can agree to that, but a K chip that doesn't want to do 4.5GHz on a mid-range motherboard that has enough power phases and overclocking options to get a solid mid-range overclock isn't a chip that's magically going to work miracles on a high-end board. Yes, and the biggest difference is in Vdrop, more ferquent BIOS updates, better cooling, better BIOS options, better VRM etc...so yea, when you get all in account it does affect stability.

FYI on my setup, with LLC disabled and 1.52vcore manually entered into the bios, it shows up in cpuz under full load as 1.41. So people who tell you to keep your load voltage under 1.52, thats bs. If your load voltage is 1.52 in cpuz under load, then your actual voltage is most likely in excess of 1.6.

You keep your load voltage that high and you will degrade your chip.

I personally would not go over 1.45 load voltage for 24/7. Thats just me though.

Yes it does... I just got a Asus p8p67 deluxe from Microcenter. Here is my new CPU Z. 1.264v at 44x. I used to need 1.38 for stable.
