Getting ripjaws, need a cooler with enough headroom.

So I have concern about getting a good heatsink that will have enough room for my heat spreaders on my new memory.

I'll be ording this motherboard:

I want to get the best heatsink I can get for under 50$

For 1600MHz CAS9, don't bother with high height RAM, just stick with some Corsair XMS3 or Kingston ValueRAM or similar.

Or get a H60/Kuhler type kit and be free to run any RAM you want

Why not get like the Corsair H60 or Antec Kuhler 620. Should fit in the rear of your antec 900.

Well I already ordered the ripjaws X memory... so keep that in mind lol.

Are these water cooling kits actually decent?

Are they a mess to deal with? (I've always only done air)

Are they worth the extra $$$ temp wise?

51c load 24c idle says yes, they are worth it

Easy enough to install, no mess at all either. It's all sealed and prebuilt. You just mount the block and radiator, plug in the pump and fans into the motherboard and you're set.

Will these be able to mount on a 1155 socket?

How do these perform with a 2600K?

They come preinstalled with the Intel socket, I had to change them out for the AMD mounts. Don't know about performance on a 2600k. Depends on the chip, overclock, ambient temp, fans, etc...

Well I'm pretty much sold on one of these things because.. frankly.. they seem badass.

Would it be better to use Arctic silver rather than the thermal compound already on them?
