If I get the DA is a gaming mouse pad something I should look into? or will it work fine on a normal one?

Are you into hard or cloth pads?

The puretrak talent is regarded as the best cloth mousepad. I use the QCK+ and it tracks great with my DA.

I like cloth pads, and I was looking into a puretrak mousepad, I'm probably going to end up getting one.

Also I only have money for one mouse, and since they are about the same price I'm still kind of split between which one to get. I keep hearing the DA has a very good sensor, but the build quality is pretty bad.
I'm leaning more towards the DA since I probably will end up upgrading in a year or two, I just don't want it crapping out on me in the first year...

Hey, the warranty lasts 2 years, so if it craps out within that time frame then you're good. I don't know anything about Razer's customer service, though. Hah. My old 1800 DPI Deathadder hasn't died yet, and I've had it for what, 3 years now? 4?

I just don't like dealing with sending it in, you know?

But yeah I'm probably going with the DA... As for the mouse pad I don't know if should get the QcK+ or Razer Goliathus

I'd say the Goliathus, since it's a Razer product, meant for Razer mice, but you really can't go wrong with either of them.

Alright well if I do go with the goliathus, should I get a speed or control edition? I'm going to playing at around 2000 dpi...

"The end result? The Speed Edition results in more friction on your mouse, and contrary to its name, slower mouse movement. The Control Edition, meanwhile, touches your mouse less, and so your mouse moves faster."

I have no idea. If only you could try them out before buying, that'd be great. There's also different sizes, probably best to go with normal?

Alright, I LOVE logitech mice and I LOVE razer mice. Both make great products and each has their own strengths and weaknesses.

Logitech, for example, usually has ****tier quality scroll wheels. Razer has a bad rap for quality control and people feel the deathadder feels cheap.

Logitech mice DO feel sturdier than the deathadder. However the DA doesn't feel cheap by any means. It's got the standard feel of a regular mouse with glossy sides and a rubberized top. The build materials won't crap out on you any time soon.

Usually when mice die it's due to the cord or internals. Razers do have a tendency to double-click after a while due to faulty switches. If you're keen on electronics, this is, like the poster above metioned a $2.00 replacement.

You're more-than-likely to get 1-2 years out of either logitech or razer mouse. For you, choose what mouse fits your needs based on the sensor and ergonomics. The MX518 used to work for me, and after my hand grew I've switched to the DA. Both are great dude!

I personally chose the 3G DA over the G500 because of the faulty sensors. If jittering and tracking doesn't bother you then the logitech isn't a bad choice. It doesn't suit my needs though.

That code doesn't work

As for the mouse pad I can't try it out, or at least I wouldn't know where to go to do that. I'll probably end up getting the speed just so it can be a little more slick

Thanks for the help guys
