Perhaps because that's the wrong resolution, seeing as that is still a single monitor resolution gaming?

Guess he forgot to read the part where 5760x1080 came into play. Pretty sure multiple monitors will show their true differences, especially since the 6970 has 2GB verses the 580 3GB.

Apparently you dumbasses don't realize that 5760x1200 benchmarks are also included in that review and the 6970 is just as fast if not faster.

Stop being useless and extending this thread. Obviously you guys have no clue what you're talking about.

There's this thing called google, try it.

If you take your computer illiteracy and assumptions out of here first.

Ah I see, you have a GTX 580 and can't stand the fact someone is pointing out how retarded that purchase is.

Anyway,He posted a pretty good review despite his douchebaggery. Performance obviously varies for different games, but the 6970 looks to be on par. Up to you for your amount of vram and the money you wish to spend on it.

I would still see what people are saying about ati drivers. Like I said earlier, I see posts all the time while browsing about ati driver issues. By no means am I trying to steer you away from ati, just simply trying to help. Nvidia has their fair share of driver issues, but I've seen many more ati issues around the web. Good lluck in picking between the two. Battle of the brands haha.

I think you failed to see his initial post calling us all idiots for it lasting 3 pages. He can make his point and not be a douche. Get back to topic and stop furthering his bull.

So he's going to pay $300-500 more for slightly better laid out drivers and lesser performance at 5760x1080?

Brilliant!

You're still completely ignorant about the subject and contributed nothing.
