PSU for GTX 570

Thread Starter
Currently planning to buy new nVidia GeForce GTX570 MSI 1280Mb gfx card, and my old 450W PSU surely won't be able to handle it, so i'm looking for replacement.

My current PC specs:

CPU Intel Core i3-530 2.93GHz 4Mb Cache
RAM Corsair XMS3 4Gb (2x2Gb) DDR3 1333MHz
MB ASUS P7H55/USB3
HDD Western Digital Caviar Green 1Tb 64Mb Cache (and some old 160Gb Seagate, don't remember the actual model)
Case Thermaltake Swing VB6000BNS (PSU will be mounted at the top)

PSU has to have just enough power, not planning on further upgrades. It doesn't have to be modular.

Thanks in advance.

If its available in your country, I'd recommend trying to pick up a corsair power supply as they typically are well designed and should be able to last you a long time. As in terms of wattage you'd probably be good with a 550W, perhaps even a 500W.

Look for these:
XFX 450W
Antec Neo Eco 520C or High Current Gamer 520W
Corsair CX500V2 or CX600V2
I'd give you links but I don't know where you live.

According to his profile it says he's in Russia.
Shub has a good list there, I keep forgetting about Antec, even though they do have some quality power supplies

I would advise you to get 550w or higher , as it is required by Nvidia in their website

scroll down and you'll see the (Minimum Recommended System Power)

Thanks for suggestions guys ^_^

Yeah, I live in Russia, St-Petersburg. All brands you listed so far are available here.

My old PSU is Cooler Master eXtreme Power Plus 460W.

CM ePP 460W has...312W on +12V? You're right in looking for an upgrade.

You will be fine with any of Shub's suggestions. Some others may also be acceptable, depending on what's available.

If you had a good 450w I'd say keep it, but that one is a bit terrible. It's on the "Do not buy list"

IF you have an Antec High Current Gamer 520w, and its at a reasonable price I'd suggest that.
