Does it try to fix windows file or my harddisk? I saw posts talking about don't use windows chkdsk but use harddisk maker's software to check. I see some kind of error/warning saying there is free space mis located something like that...and ask me to allow the company to check during next boot, I let it do so and reboot, but I have the same thing after reboot and let the thing runs.

chkdsk will find corrupted files
chkdsk /f will remove corrupted files (and put them in the root directory should you wish to try and fix them).

As for HDD mfgrs software, some is excellent, some is risky garbage.

Not really. It just removes the corrupted files and saves whatever fragments it can find. There may be a small amount of space saved, but if you have enough corruption to result in appreciable space saving, you problem isn't space, it's the corruption.
