Gaming headset for ~200$ - Page 6

Steelseries. I have been impressed by the quality of their work. Their most popular model are the Siberia v2 which come with a portable sound card that saves your sound profiles in case you need to move around with your PC (LAN games... tourneys...). this one is about 89.99$ on average.

their Top line model is the 7H. It has both USB jacks for your preference and also works with the Sound card. that one is about 129-179$

Keep in mind they also make those same models compatible with consoles like the xbox or ps3 and for some reason made an entirely new line of products to work with ipod (idk..)

Possibly, but the PCI slot is enough for a Xonar DG as long as it isn't covered and u can remove the back metal covers. It's possible as the GTX 460 is a dual slot card. but since, it's covered and you have a free PCI slot, just make use of the free PCI slot then.

Turtle Beach X59 , 59.99. take the other 140.00 and dump it into your system. I use them, cheap and sound great. TB is going to be launching another budget set though sometime this year, might want to wait for those. Oh, it does have a functioning MIC for Vent/TS etc. Only downside is they're wired so ehh

LOL, you took a pic of the insides, yes, but you need to take the picture of the PCI slot. But it seems like you do have the space for a sound card, so it's fine. Just confirm if its a PCI-E slot or PCI slot.

http://www.google.com/imgres?q=pci+o...w=1920&bih=955

The black slot = PCIe, the white slot = PCI. The color of the slot does not matter, A PCI-e slot can be colored blue, red, etc. but CHECK THE LAYOUT OF THE SLOT. a PCI slot is made such that the left end of the slot is slightly to the left than the end of the PCI-e slot.

There isn't another slot, that is below the GTX 460, but isn't covered by the card?
