the top PCI slot.

I am mistaken, the P67 boards have a PCI 1x slot above the first PCIe 16x, alas the Z68's do not.

EDIT:
The Z68X-UD5 has a PCI 1x above the top 16x slot, but the Useless NF200 heatsink is directly behind it, how long is your sound card? it might not fit.

The Heat-sink is very bulky, here is a close-up:

This board might be a suitable replacement, it only has 8phase VRM though, which should still be sufficient for a 4.5ghz OC.

Heres a Review of the Z68X-UD3H board.

4.5ghz is a great OC, and the sweet spot for Sandy-Bridge...

Were you hoping for 5ghz?

I used that z68-ud3h yesterday. It's the worst board that I've ever owned.

CONS:
It wouldn't boot at anything over 100 bclk.
It cold bugged on me at -50.
Failed starts would reset everything in the bios.
The bios was slow.
All overclocking options are in a different tab in the bios.
100 bclk = 99.8 in windows.

Pros:
Didn't have typical reboot loop that giga's have

Just to help you in your search, there's a huge difference between PCI and PCIe You're wanting PCI Express, not PCI.
