Yes and you will compete with ppl that can put in more hours and in groups and you also have to pay money to sell on their site, and they will also take a cut once you sell your item. Not as lucrative as you think. If you try hard, I'm guessing 50 bucks a month at MOST. 10-20 more realistic, 5, more likely

Cause lets be honest, half the people sayin' they arn't goin' to get it, definately are, and d3 will probably sell more copies of any game in the past year, and blizzard will still be raking in $$$ all day. they could probably say there is only 1 class and no more pvp and people would still buy it. ( as long as its the demon hunter they kept)
The only thing that bothers me is the constant connection requirement. Diablo is a great game to play when the Internet goes down or you're over at a friend's house, and the Internet is not always available. The rest of the stuff makes total sense, lets go through them:

No Eyefinity? It would make it much easier for *some* to see farther than others, and it'd bring a ton of balancing issues. Diablo 3 isn't Eyefinity style anyway, it's more for FPS and the like.

No Mods? I never used any mods in Diablo II and I've gotten hundreds, if not thousands of hours of gametime. Diablo 3 has at least 2 planned expansions, which is fine by me as there will be lots of content!

RL Currency exchange? Doesn't bother me at all, you aren't FORCED to use it and I usually play Diablo with real life friends or by myself, so I don't see the big deal. Also, there were ALWAYS items available online if you really wanted them, all this does is integrate it with the game itself.

Getting pretty tired of all the Diablo 3 whiners really, the game will be fun and I'll definitely buy it.

Did you also know that Blizzard will be charging 3 times for the auctions. 1 charge for adding an item to an auction house, another charge for someone actually buying your item, and the third charge for trying to cash out to your paypal. In essence, and totally fake figures, say you were able to sell an Uber special high powered god weapon for $1000 (again, fake numbers here). After 3 different % charges from Blizzard, you only end up with about $600. You BUY their game, PLAY for hours, SELL something expensive, and they get a major profit for watching you do it. Its LITERALLY slave labor. Anyone who doesnt see a problem with this is blind. Its not a game anymore, its their second cash cow like WoW. Even SC2 is going stupid with heart of the swarm coming out at retail price because they didnt put it in the first starcraft. Just another way for them to rake in $$$. Its sad really.
1. So because you played longer and didn't buy your item means you deserve to win more?
2. It is not literally slave labor. Do you know what literally means? They put the items into the game themselves. Again, it is not slave labor.

I disagree, because, they make money and so do you despite the charges that they levee against you when you sell the item. As for HoTS, the price is going to be expansion price, not sure where you read that:

What other PC developer can get away making games with low quality gfx at best and their games being 60$ a pop. If it was any other game OCN would rage at it.
Not sure what you're talking about. Blizzard have always been known not to have uber graphics but even then, at ultra, SCII looks great. I don't need or want crysis graphics in an RTS setting because running that for most ppl would be brutal especially when you get 200/200 armies clashing. Commence the lagging!

Blizzard doesn't claim to be the best graphics wise. Their graphic style isn't meant to be as realistic as CoH as someone compared because they aim more towards the cartoon/comic book style of artwork, which I enjoy. Its a comforting change from the real world, which is what I look for when I play a video game.

1. Online DRM - doesn't bother me. My internet is always hooked up. I'm also OK with them wanting everyone that plays to own a copy.

2. Real Money AH - doesn't bother me. I personally would never spend real money in there... I'll find a way to get the items like I did with D2. I know people that made some damn good money in D2 item farming and selling them on websites though. I used to trade them duplicates of items that I didn't want or need (I mean really, how many SoJs can I have? LOL) and he'd drop money in my paypal every week or two for it.
