Cause lets be honest, half the people sayin' they arn't goin' to get it, definately are, and d3 will probably sell more copies of any game in the past year, and blizzard will still be raking in $$$ all day. they could probably say there is only 1 class and no more pvp and people would still buy it. ( as long as its the demon hunter they kept)
The only thing that bothers me is the constant connection requirement. Diablo is a great game to play when the Internet goes down or you're over at a friend's house, and the Internet is not always available. The rest of the stuff makes total sense, lets go through them:
No Eyefinity? It would make it much easier for *some* to see farther than others, and it'd bring a ton of balancing issues. Diablo 3 isn't Eyefinity style anyway, it's more for FPS and the like.
No Mods? I never used any mods in Diablo II and I've gotten hundreds, if not thousands of hours of gametime. Diablo 3 has at least 2 planned expansions, which is fine by me as there will be lots of content!
RL Currency exchange? Doesn't bother me at all, you aren't FORCED to use it and I usually play Diablo with real life friends or by myself, so I don't see the big deal. Also, there were ALWAYS items available online if you really wanted them, all this does is integrate it with the game itself.
Getting pretty tired of all the Diablo 3 whiners really, the game will be fun and I'll definitely buy it.Edited by JadedFloridian - 8/3/11 at 5:00pm
