Hi.

You can try, but the 1st Phenom generation was not a good overclocker CPU. The 1GHz is almost impossible to do with that CPU and stock cooler. Try on BIOS or using K10Stat

Just try, always that you keep the CPU at 65ºC or less and with not more that 1.35V on CPU, your rig is safe.

First of all do you know what cooler you have? Just curious.

And to the overclocking:

These CPUs do overclock. Not great but they do just fine. (Little Google search info)

Stock settings should be 200Mhz FSB, 13 Multiplier, 1 Divider.

Your CPU speed should be 2600Mhz

Formula to overclocking:

FSB X (Mult/Div) = Speed

If your bios doesn't use a divider, the multiplier options should be in .5 increments. If it does use a divider, you can get the half increments by setting it to 2, e.g. 12.5 = 25 multiplier, 2 divider.

Basically this will be a trial and error process. You save your settings and see if it boots.

If it doesn't, go back in and try something different.

Sorry for double post. I thought I should add that your motherboard is no designed to overclock. A good idea after looking at temps and such would be to add some heatsinks to the MOSFET.

You can get some here:
