New SSD.... at 200+

Thread Starter
I will be able here shortly to buy a new SSD....
64 Gigs not enough for desktop systems what so ever...

I have seen these badboys..
90,000IOPS....
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16820226226

What is the downfall to these..heard they are running OEM sanforce controllers, which i would think would actually loose alot of performance in a short amount of time forcing you to over pay for a bad controller...compared to a good controller and lower speeds which would last alot longer..

The price is no object here...

I was reading also that the
OCZ vertex 3 has major firmware issues...(dont know havent tested one out to know)

Also seen that M4 Crucial drives are having Firmware issues also...compared to its brother the C300...

In honest opinion im trying to stick to mushkin more because i like the ram they put out alot....
I like the ram alot...
Saying that im hoping they have good Chips on the SSDs as they do ram....

SO State which of the Three i should go for instead...
(90,000 at aligned 4kb WOW)
And give some reasons why (deffinitly if possible give some sites that show The controllers in more detail im having hard time finding the controller for the Chronos...)

Thank you

Ive had mine since the day it came out, no problems, no crashes, and what people say ab out most of them coming DOA is absolutely false, they are the fastest SSDs ive ever used and they come in fairly big sizes. SATA 3, all those special Elm Crest features intel puts in, al-in-all very reliable drive, at amazing speeds, not quite 90,000IOPS, but still blistering
