I'd go with the 570's if my 2 460's can run crysis in surround (all be it a little slower than normal) then 2 570's should own it especially with the non reference 2.5GB of vram!! =]

although you may want to look at this review if you predict higher Vram is better at higher resolutions :\\

maybe 3GB is an unlucky number for a GPU

its either GTX580 3GB SLI or GTX570 2.55GB SLI...

the 580 is out of your budget so...

you can go for 6970 CF but the GTX570's 2.55GB will probably get you higher FPS.
My build :)

As much as an Nvidia fanboy as I am, for your situation I would recommend two 6970 Lightnings. They are beasts at high resolutions and should fit your budget nicely.

REP -1 to all:
READ!
I decided to go GTX 560 Ti and upgrade to kepler once they're out...
The 570 are waste to buy right now, especially at the price tag of 335 EUR...

About the 6970 Lightnigh CFX: that's BS,
They will run way to hot...
I have a phantom, and a H100 soon, not an aircooled HAF X.
All the heat the first card exhausts, will be second's intake...

I sold my 6950's for 200 EUR each ( lucky me ) and bough 2 GTX 560 Ti Phantom's 2GB
These will perform the same as my 6950's @ stock...

The 6950's were overclocked... so will the gtx 560 Ti's be

Really, read the thread before you post !

grtz

Xioros

/ don't feel bad, but really, read...

I would honestly recommend a 120hz monitor for 3d vision. Its impressive.

Wait until you've tried them before commenting. I made a similar move and I'll tell you right now that for the most part 6950 crossfire was a better experience than GTX570 sli. Crossfire scaling is impressive this gen.

if you can afford it go 590,it outperforms the 580 plus if you do go 580 your gonna have to wait to sli later down the road but if you dont mind waiting (a single 580 will be plenty for a very long time anyway) BUT if you ever want surround gaming go for the 3gb 580 and get another later on....theres heaps of things you have to think of before you rush into buying these sort of things.
