Any EK nickel product that you will be using I would strongly recommend to look for the "EN" designation as this is their "updated" nickel plating process. I myself will not touch their products unless its free or grossly discounted in its least.

Glad to see another SD native

Go Bolts!
Hahahaha I love the Chargers, but I just have't been able to get excited about them lately; or any SD sports team for that matter

Last season was a disaster, hopefully they can get their act this season. Good thing they signed Floyd today.

Our perfect weather allows them to slack off. When they play out of town they take it in the ass...

So, the EK parts came in Today - All we could say when we opened the package was,
"OH-MY-GOD, XMAS CAME EARLY!!!" (even though it cost $$$)

The vendor we bought everything from actually threw in a pen and 2 beer coolers.. SWEET!

Last thing we are waiting on is the NZXT case, which should be in tomorrow / Thursday. Once it gets here, we can finally start putting everything together - we're very excited

Here's a picture of everything that came in our package of EK goodies. You can understand why we thought Santa Clause came to our office...

Had some fun today taking close-ups with a co-workers camera using a macro(sp?) lens

Our EVGA GTX560 Ti SC's came today as well as our 4 x 2GB G.Skill Ripjaw X Series 1600MHz Cas7 RAM

Will post pictures of those tomorrow!!
We start the build Monday - we FINALLY got our NZXT via UPS today and came so late in the day, we weren't able to do any work on the build

Stay tuned on Monday for the start of our build!

But first, FUN PHOTOSHOP PICTURES YES!

BTW everyone - We've just expanded the build!!
We are now going to do back-to-back builds. After this computer, we're going to build 2 more!

Once they're all built and ready to be tested:

These computers in a "showdown" by overclocking, cooling, and performance. We'll record the results to see which cooling system and components handle the stress better than the others. After we run a few control tests with stock cooling, There will be a series of tests:
1) 6 Hour MAX stress test / maximum heat testing / load test / stability test
2) 24 Hour application load test & stability (running different benchmarking tools)
3) 72 Hour stress test and load test (running different benchmarking tools)
4) 30 day Folding@Home endurance & stability test

For the 3rd test, the application testing includes heavy game benchmarking, overclocking for optimum FPS gaines, heat readings, and multi application load times, and preformance.
For the 4th test, each computer will run F@H for 30 days, 24 hours/day using all cores + dual VGA's - we'll test end stability, cooling minimums / averages / maximums.

There's now a ton of things I have to coordinate to get these other computer rolling, but we're planning on building 2/3 PC's on a P67 platform, and the 3rd on the x58 platform.
The baseline parts for each computer will be the following:
1 ~ (x2) EVGA SuperClocked GTX 560 Ti SC's
2 ~ Corsair Dominator (4 x 2GB) 1600MHz Dual Channel RAM
3 ~ Creative Sound Blaster X-Fi Titanium HD Sound Card
4 ~ AJA Kona LHi - Analog/Digital Capture Card
5 ~ Corsair AX-850W -or- HX1050W (80 Gold) PSU
6 ~ (x2) Western Digital VelociRaptor (10,000RPM) 1TB HD
7 ~ ASUS X24 CD-DVD/RW + ASUS X12 Blu-Ray Drive
8 ~ (x2) ASUS LCD 23" Backlight LED Monitor (2ms)
10 - Sony EVI HD1 - 10x HD Color Pan/Tilt/Zoom Camera

The case of each computer will be different because we wanted to test how each case feels, the ease of working with it, it's quality, cooling ability, and a few other points. Also, each computer will support a different water cooling system from a different manufacturer.
As everyone already knows, EKWB will be in the 1st computer, DANGER DEN will be in the 2nd computer! We're still deciding what system for the 3rd computer, so I will update once we confirm that.

We wanted to take suggestions from the community on what cases we should build in for the 3 computers.

PLEASE POST YOUR TOP THREE CASES YOU WOULD LIKE TO SEE FOR THIS BUILD!
We will tally up the votes and choose the top 2 winners, so PLEASE participate so we can get good results!

1) ??????????
2) ??????????
3) ??????????

START YOUR VOTERS!!!

Your third build should be all AquaComputer. As for the cases, I'd like to see a CaseLabs, LittleDevil, or MountainMods build. I feel like the vast majority of votes will be for one of the CaseLabs cases.

I agree, do your third build all aqua computer and second all Koolance?

Perhaps a TJ07 or TJ11 build? Possibly some kind of Lian li case and have a green + silver theme (that way you could leave the inside un painted aluminium.
