[G3D] Corsair Carbide 400R review - Page 6

I think in the price range this definitely a top notch case. As others have said prices fluctuate so much you could pick up a nicer case for close to the same price. But that's when those cases have rebates this one is starting out at this price range. And with rebates/sales could be quite fiscally nice.

The looks are good and the interior is surprisingly good for a mid tower. If I were building a budget gaming rig this is where I'd house it. Pick up a few fan filters 2.99 a piece from silverstone and mount this thing with enough cfm to lift off and you'd be looking pretty good.

Just not sure if I could go mid tower after a full tower XD and after seeing my buddys 800d .. That thing is magnificent leading me to trust corsair with cases a bit more.

Unf...
Do want...I actually consider this a viable upgrade from my CM 690...
Especially if I cannibalize some of the fans and Mesh.

I don't know if I have this right or not. So with this case it also gives the option to connect the front USB3's to the back USB3's in the IO just like the 600T?

We are moving to the internal connectors for all of our cases now that we have a solution that does not negatively impact speeds.

We'll make internal adapters available to those who have already bought 600Ts/650Ds that had the external cable.

Not really, no note worthy features are to be found. I would much rather buy a Shinobi or a HAF case. And for some people, $99 isn't exactly cheap.

Now if only they could fix up the 600T/650D's fan size selection faults, internal USB3 cables, and make the roof a bit higher...
