Any suggestions?

Thread Starter
I'm planning on going with the 6GV2, Das Ultimate Silent, or the Filco Ninja (brown).

I'm thinking about going with the 6GV2 mainly because it's 100 bucks and I do a lot of double tapping when gaming. I also type a lot because I'm in college (I've typed on blacks before I haven't experienced any "stiff" key presses or fatiguing of the hand). The only reason I sorta wanna stay away from a filco is because of the pinging some of them make.

Either way I plan on going with brown/black switches.

Thoughts? Suggestions?

Good choice, nice layout, nice look, better keycaps than filcos.

Ping shouldn't be a problem even on filco boards because the black switches, btw theres not point in wasting 60$ more to get more or less the same board.

Leopold.

If it pings Elitekeyboards will take it back no questions asked.

I have been deciding what to get for my first mechanical for a while now. During this process I strongly considered the Das, Steelseries 6GV2, Filco, and Leopold. I read many reviews and did some reflecting on what was really important to my in a keyboard.

I ended up deciding on the tenkeyless Leopold and MX Browns. It took a while to come to a decision but I ended up deciding that I didn't really need a numberpad, didn't care about media control keys or backlighting, and that the Leopold offers more bang for the buck than the Filco.

If your needs/wants are similar that the Leopold would be a great choice imo.

I'm not a huge fan of tenkeyless boards, but I will consider the Leopold.
