How to run P95 at full?

Thread Starter
Okay, I'm a little confused. I see tons of Screenshots of people running P95 with RealTemp and CPU-Z both showing the CPU at full power. By that I mean, if you set it to 5Ghz, it'll run at 5Ghz. For some reason when I run P95, it runs it at like 3.7-ish Ghz. I have my multiplier at 50x right now, Linx boosts it up that high but P95 won't.

So I'm pretty much just asking... Why? Haha. Thanks!

I do use it, but both CPU-Z and Realtemp fluctuate. Usually starts at 5ghz, then quickly drops down to 3.7Ghz.

Not sure what the deal is with p95... but you can try OCCT for a test.

OCCT has linpack and standard tests, so if they work then it may be a bugged version.

Do you have turbo disabled?

Not sure, I think it's enabled. I never changed it from stock.

if it's dropping the multi under load then you need to set the turbo boost limit in the bios to this:

Core current: 200
Short power: 250
Long power: 250

So keep the Turbo Boost enabled, and change the limit to what you said? I disabled it and it did nothing, haha.

Yeah leave the turbo boost and change the Core Current Limit to 200 and then select the Turbo boost limit to manual and change the short duration and long duration 250 and leave the other on 1sec.

That should do the trick

Sweet, that worked well. Haha.

So now, every time it's under load it'll go at 5Ghz? That can't possibly be bad for it can it?

Thanks a lot btw.
