Its an expensive and time consuming hobby!

I dont know how I find time in between the gym, basketball and kickboxing.

All worth while when you get the end result you were after though!

I was thinking the same about the avatars! I will change mine when this build is finished. I'll try and take a shot of the same thing from the same angle but of this build not my old one biggrin.gif

One more question about the custom mid plate.
How did you attach the 3 layers of plexi together? or are they just sitting one on top of the other.

they just sit on top of eachother mate!

Some people choose to encase them with an aluminium frame but I have found you get the same effect by just layering them.

I got to work over the weekend and moved the 240 up in to the drive bays. Worked out pretty well -

Installed the new smoked plexi top -

img0450yp.jpg

Its far from done as cables need to be sorted out along with a front cover for the fans on the 240.

The good news is, the temps are a lot lower now that I have the new fans installed and the 240 up in the drive bays. The loop goes - Res > Pump > 480 > 240 > CPU > GPUS > RES.

Update time!

Purchased some of the hard to find Dominator 1866mhz Cas 7 Hypers a couple of days ago so I will be swapping out my memory and putting in a Dominator Nickel ram block to match.

Recieved my 6990 and 6970 nickel back plates from EK today so I will also look at putting them in tonight or tomorrow and take some pictures.

I still have to tidy up the cabling in the drive bays, along with sleeving the front GT's so I will post some new pics very soon smile.gif

If anyone has any good ideas for tube routing, please speak up. Not that happy with how it looks at the moment.

Thinking maybe black tubing too??

I think you need to take some proper, clear shots of the whole build where it stands at the moment smile.gif
