Yeah its really weird mate but it is a legitimate figure. I have tested over the last week solidly and I was getting peak temps while playing BC2 of around 55c on the hottest core (BC2 stresses both the GPUS and the CPU so seems to produce the most heat) however after putting the loop back together last night and filling the res up the hottest core on the CPU after 2 hours of play with the same ambient was 44c. The other 3 cores were 41c.

I have no idea what the go is??

Parallel has a slower flow, so it can heat the water up faster.

parallel has a quicker flow man as there is less restriction. You have to have a higher flow rate for it to cool better though as the water is not forced to pass through the GPU blocks.

So shouldn't that mean that his GPUs will be hotter in seriel now since the heat isn't being transfered to the water as much?

when you run in a series your bottom GPU can be a little warmer as the water has to pass through the top GPU before reaching the bottom.

The thing is though, water temp equalises after about 10mins of load and there is no difference after that.

Yea, sorry i was thinking you were flowing from top to bottom already lol, and remembering it backwards lol. Maybe you just had some air trapped somewhere?

Trapped air is a possibility. My CPU hit 70c idle once and I freaked out. Restarted it and it went back to the usual 25c so I could only assume it was an air bubble.

There are always problems but I guess you just work through them!

I have pulled this build apart and put it back together countless times to try to get things right..

Black tubing and some new stuff is going in atm guys. Expect some good updates before this coming weekend. Have to have it all sweet for the BF3 beta release ;-)
