Which Motherboard and Ram should I get?

Motherboards

I am deciding between the Asus P8P67 Deluxe and the Asus P8Z68 Deluxe. Which one of these boards has the double posting issues? I was leaning towards the Asus P67 Deluxe just because it has better reviews. And I get this PSU in a combo with the P67 Deluxe http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16817139016.

Ram

I am also not sure which ram I should get. It is either between http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16820231445 or http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16820231455. I was leaning towards the blue Ripjaws to match the motherboard and their is a $20 promo code that ends today. It seems the read Ripjaws are faster, but would red not look good with my motherboard?

and if youre planning on installing a Graphics Card, get the P8P67, Non-gaming system? the P8Z68, the only feature the Z68 board has right now thats worth switching is the Sandy Bridge integrated graphics support, if youre not planning on using that, not worth the switch

Either way those boards seem pretty popular. I got a Z68 Gigabyte and I would be happy even if I got a P67 version. I am not using many features of it, but just in case I like the options. Just get the Z68 as they are basically the same, but the Z68 is newer and has more features. Unless they are features you have no intention on ever using I guess. For ram I have the Snipers @ 1866 9-10-9-28 and they are good. I would never notice a difference in real time though. I'd say if you are comparing the frequency to timings then I would get the 1600 8-8-8-24. Reasoning for that is if you really want to run 1866 then you might be able to overclock the 1600 to 1866 9-9-9-24 at the very least. Hell I have these cheap OEM Nanya sticks that are 1333 9-9-9-24 1.5v and they overclock to 2000 9-9-9-24 1.65v. And I haven't even tried to go further yet. So yes get the 1600. I guess the timings being slightly off wont make much of a deal though. So take what I said into consideration and with a grain of salt. I'd say pick a color that will go well with your system.

Looks aren't important for everyone, but you get respect when you have a nice neat build with a good scheme. You pay a lot of money for these parts so might as well do it with style.

This is a gaming computer. I will be building it hopefully next week. I will be installing a GTX 570. The Asus Z68 Deluxe has no video ports, I was just wondering if the Intel Smart Response Technology is worth it.

Issue in bold... the Z68 has DVI and HDMI on the back

And i heard Smart Response will actually slow down your OS but make it start up, and open recent files faster because of the constant cache sync

I've seen some good numbers in benchmarks considering you get fast speed with big sized hard drives. I am happy I have the option even though I haven't used it yet. I'd say go for it. Unless it cost too much extra as I'm not sure the price off the top of my head.
