No you wouldn't, unless you upgrade to more power hungry components each time or something.

If you're only using a 550Ti then you can downsize to a 400-450w (which is good for anything upto a 6870/gtx 460) or something. The Neo ECO 400/XFX Pro 450w/Rosewill Green 430w are good choices.

thanks for the tips guys, went a tad over the budget they allowed me first but I think that with what they'll have for it it'll be fine :




hopefully I haven't made any stupid ordering mistakes.. pricematching helped a bit.. decided on LE version instead of PRO for the mobo because I don't think they'll go SLI any time soon.. the pc I'm replacing is an old compaq presario.
