Try temporarily disabling firewall/antivirus/antimalware. This is to rule those out as the culprit. Once you figure out which is to blame (if any) re-enable and work on adding an exception.

I seem to remember having the same issue a while back thinking.gif

Do not let Windows manage your internet connection. You may need to re-install you modem / router setup.

But it does seem to be a firewall issue.

ISP issue... I dont think so. Its going to be with your setup

You've completely disabled them? That's the quickest way for you to know for sure. Maybe your firewall exception is not working. Maybe some other nannyware has a port blocking feature that you're not aware of.

Possible, but unlikely if it was working fine under WinXP.
