Steelseries Xai and HD9

Thread Starter
When I first tried my Steelseries Xai with my HD9 it was more smooth then anything I have ever tried with a mouse and mouse pad combo. After about a week though my mouse has developed a noticeable roughness when moving it. Almost like a gran of sand if caching under the mouse. From what I can tell its the feet on the mouse caching on very light gran on the mouse pad. I was wondering if anyone else has had this problem. I was thinking maybe a more smooth mouse pad like the I-2 might work better or just buy some new mouse feet?

Teflons a soft plastic and your mouse feet probably have hairline scratches on it from sliding across dust or other small particles. It's bound to happen with any gaming mouse on any hard surface.

The Xai and your 9HD need to be kept immaculately clean, to work their best. Sometimes you get a little adhesive exposed around the edges of the mousefeet, that will pick up dust or dirt, and this needs to be removed from time to time. Windex is your friend.

i have had mine for about 2 weeks now, i noticed the catching on occasion but so far its the best mouse n pad i have used. I read reviews before purchasing and the only problem seems to be the feet wearing out after extended use.
