looking for a 32 inch tv

hey everyone i appreciate your feedback in advance. i am in the market for a 32 inch tv for my dorm at school...mainly used for my xbox 360. we have a surround sound system but no blu ray player yet...what is everyones suggestions on what to get. Thanks!!

it will be in the living room so the correct size would be a 32" possibly a 37" price range no more than 500-525ishh

Check out the new line of Panasonics. I had one with a PS3 and there was no discernible input lag. They all come with IPS panels and their prices should fit your budget. You might be able to swing a 37" for 500 or so.

LG is another decent brand but google the "LG panel lottery."

What does it say on the tv.

Is there a logo saying Full hd or hd ready

Full HD = 1080P
HD Ready = 720P

These are usually what they mean

Edit: What country are you from

It should have the specs of the tv in the manual
Where did you buy the tv what model is it on the back of the tv

the manual is crap...there is a thread here about different LG reps telling us different things on whether its 1080 or not...google 32lv3400 you get nothing but results from other countries...LG said its a new model and mine says manufactured june '11
