Is this just a MP thing? I play BC2 SP all the time with AB up and I never have any issues...

Yes, I believe so. I've never played campaign, but since PunkBuster is only for multi-player, and the issue seems to be with that service, then it should just be with multiplayer.

yes ..its a PunkBuster->AfterBurner monitoring conflict..

*there are ways around it, by adjusting the "detection levels" in the monitoring options inside AfterBurner

i also had problems with afterburner and BC2. i didnt uninstall it, just made sure its turned off, and no longer causes crashing

Alright, looks like I've solved the issue with the fan speed on startup. I had to disable "EnableULPS" in the registry.

Still want to make sure it is normal for GPU-Z to show Crossfire disabled on the second GPU, and if its normal for the second card to be 5 - 10C hotter than the first one, even at 0 load. Right now they are at 35C and 41C, respectively, and 0% load, both 50% fan. But I have seen 10C difference between them at 0 load.

Try using Trixx from Sapphire, it supports volt, fan, overclock + sync crossfire.
Trixx has the option to disable ULPS. There are no need to go in registry.

Do you have a proper driver?

Sorry, this is a quick reply. I have skip reading a few posts so I dont know if it solved or not.
