The people that make up 7/7 Heroic is exactly .03% of the population. I'm well aware, i'm sitting at 6/7 Heroic for Firelands right now. US 6th. There is only 1 guild in the USA that is 7/7.

My point is most of those normal mode guilds are all bottlenecked. Ragnaros is too hard for them, they have nothing else to do. Gear will not allow them to execute a strategy if they can't already do it. There is no casual content outside of 5 mans and 2 Tol Barad bosses. The majority of WoW players are casual.

Instead of releasing totally seperate raids for casual players that are easier and puggable, they make normal/hard modes of the same instance (AKA Lazyiness on blizzard's part). Normal modes are still too hard for PUGs and even most guilds. Hard modes are too hard for 90% of the player base.

They aren't balancing the content correctly, and the casual fanbase is quitting. They have nothing to do outside of killing the same 4-5 bosses on normal because that's all their guild has the skill level to do.

In my opinion, you can only level/reroll/pvp for so long before it gets incredibly boring. Many people are now experiencing this and that's why the population is dropping.

Yes the game is too easy.

And before anyone says "Heroic raids!"

If your guild/server has fallen apart, it is NOT easy to find a new group to try said H raids with. Most guilds are plenty happy just to faceroll normal content. Once some people I played with started quitting, it started a chain reaction and I ended up at the point where no one I knew played and no one was willing to accept me for high end content, even though my raiding resume includes things like BT cleared before attunement was removed, 4/6 sunwell, Algalon realm first, and things like that. Pretty much everything fell apart with ToC for me.

I quit after 2 years and a top tier hardcore guild. I liked Wrath, but my favorite was still BC. I liked the fights, the zones, just the overall experience better. (Sunwell was by far the best raid in my opinion.) Maybe I'm just bitter since my shadow priest is a different toon these days. Tried to play some Started Edition the other day. The interface is far and above better than it used to be, but to me it's still WoW. I won't be going back to WoW until it's F2P as I don't have that kind of time, I can't pay and be casual, and I enjoy playing on my 360 and Steam again. Good luck to those still playing.

Even on the forums/mmo-champion there are players moaning about how they want the Raiding gear but don't want to raid. These are the people Blizzard are catering for, the players who want everything handed to them on a platter.

That and the PvP balance was abysmal, nothing more rage inducing losing to an undergeared, underskilled, keyboard-turner just because he manages to turn round before you can burst him down and hit his 2/3 button 'I WIN' combo.

I personally enjoyed the levelling experience, now it's all just too fast so they can pump out the end game content.
thank you.....this is the reason i cannot stand to play wow anymore....Blizzard hands people gear and when they get it the people that actually want to play the game and have some challenge in it cant because of the morons that were handed gear by blizzard and think that becuase they have the gear, they can play the game......garbage...

as for pvp...what a joke...

So because you can't get in to a good guild, heroic raids doesn't count?

Well...they did make 10mans start giving the same gear as 25mans, to make it easier for guilds having attendance issues but wanting to continue with their core players.

This picture I made will show why WoW is dying more than I could ever type.

Coming from someone who is in the 6th US guild in the world (as of this posting). They can't make the majority of raid content for the absolute best players. If they want to do that they need to make a completely seperate raid instance for them. They need to have content for your average player, and right now they don't have it.

Pre-BC they had plenty of 5mans with decent difficulty challenge for casuals that would keep them entertained, gear was not dropped like hot cakes. Today's 5 mans drop loot so fast you only need to run them a couple times and you are maxed and need to start raiding. Most lack the time or skill level to become a raider.. and even if they don't, they likely will not be in a guild good enough to clear the majority of content.

Blizzard needs to stop being lazy and release more than 1 instance per content patch. One raid for casuals/low end raiders. One raid for high end raiders/hardcores. One instance with 2 modes is just not cutting it. The whole concept of normal/heroic difficulty in the same raid is flawed.

Agree 100% with what you said here. That is basically the exact experience I had in Cataclysm; cleared BoT and made it to final boss in BWD and struggled to down him forever. Finally did it and then struggled on all the hard modes; everyone got bored and eventually the guild broke up.

Once you hit your skill cap as a group, there really isn't much fun to be had. It only takes 1 error by one random player in a Hard mode to wipe the group, and it seemed to happen more and more as our guild got frustrated.

I quit and then came back for a few days right when Firelands hit. It was just more of the same, about the time people were begging me to join there "trash run" groups was when I decided I'd had enough of WoW.
