What psu do you have? I had a 9800GTX+ run easily on a 450watt.

a 9800GTX+ Can run usually on a 450W If you have a quad-core CPU, and on a 400W on a dual-core. I use to own a GTS 250 (Which is a Re-branded 9800GTX+) and It ran Easy on a 450W PSU.

Although, I do now run a GTX 260 Core 216 Superclocked

Well currently I got a cheap psu.. it's a Alpine 500W I should add that my system uses the Freezer XTREME Rev. 2 cooler and according to the manual, use up to 180W @ max effort. The GPU has dual fan and every time I play games, pc shuts down.

Now, the psu is 2-3 hours old xD Just upgraded, brand new.. gotta upgrade again >_< I was thinking about a ocz 700W. Would that be sufficient including the GPU overclocked?

cheers

You really don't need 700W's, but it's always good to have a ton of head-room for another GPU Down the road.

I say you should get that OCZ PSU.

and one final question, lets say my system only needs 600 W and I got a 700 w psu. Will the psu save power and run @ 600W or will it run at its full capacity, 700?

thank you
