A guy who is also interested in all this stuff has a youtube channel dedicated to it. Hes called Alienscientist. I seriously recommend it
I'm very aware of using gyroscopes and mercury in a closed loop, and then electrifying it to create lift, and in a sense, anti-gravity. It's just not a practical propulsion source at this time, and therefore there is little to talk about. I know it's been talked about that the Vimanas written about in the Mahabharata, the Ramayana, and the Vaimanika Shastra used this tech, but we are years and years away of truly testing it. The amount of Mercury needed to break through Earth's atmosphere and travel a lightyear or two would be too vast to even consider.

And @ Vegetables, please provide some sense of knowledge on the subject at hand, before completely shooting down any possibility the theory may have.

That'd be why they were orange, brown, and yellow.

Did you mean Celsius? As kelvin does not go negative (AFAIK).

I'm disappointed at the comments from people from OCN thus far. I thought we were a bit more mature and educated to actually believe that exploring for new life elsewhere is a worthwhile cause. Hmm. From previous articles, this seemed like something that most were interested in. Apparently, NASA is pointless too.

I guess it's better to spend that money funding war and also feeding people in other countries that won't stop having kids. Let's not forget all the money going into research/development for making bigger and better weapons than the other guy.

I'm done before I get an infraction. #fail

I'm not going to repeat myself over and over. Research this on your own time instead of having others verse you in the benefits of space exploration.

I never shot down any possibility the theory has, I said there isn't any real evidence to support it. Do you understand the difference?

Yes, but you and I both know that evidence regarding this topic, whether supporting or refuting it, is scarce and generally incorrect. We're here to discuss possibilities, not provide loads and loads of evidence to prove a point.
