Replace my 2x5770 ?

Hi,
I just went out and sold my GTX260 for 80$ and got two Asus EAH5770Cucore for 90$ each. Problem is, these two cards over heating like crazy when im Bitmining! Both go past the 94 degrees mark!

I just tried ordering the 5850 on vuugo but seems it just sold out.

I've been spending the last couple of days reading threads about different cards but can't really get my mind made up!

Im really confused as to what to get and would like some advice! Im not a big gamer although i might get BF3. Im really getting a new card to try the bitmining. I'd love your input guys!

Thanks
Bryan

A 5870 would be equal to your CF 5770's, make sure you have good spacing between those 5770's, if they are right next to each other they will tend to get high temps.

5870 would be faster than 5770s in gaming performance.

I had 2x5770 and they are very nice cards. I upgraded to a 5870 and I didn't notice much difference in performance. However, the 5870 did work more smoothly since once in a while I had CF issues with BFBC 2. Overall for the rpice you get the 5770s I like them. I got an open box for $50 and I have one sitting there that I got for $75 used.

As for overheating check the air flow in your chase. What case do you have?

I have a pretty ****ty Diablotek mid case with ****ty fans.
I took a 5770 out and OC'd the remaining one to 900mhz and its sitting stable at 82 degrees with 99% load...i guess the cards are good and its the airflow in my case that is bad.

I just ordered the Azza Solano 1000R. that might solve my problems
i'll keep you updated
